One thing I see sometimes in my time on the Jewish internet is the following phenomenon:

Woman, studying Torah: “Hey, I read this story, and this situation/character/idea seems kind of messed up to me, and maybe this good guy isn’t such a good guy/bad guy isn’t such a bad guy/situation is better or worse than commonly interpreted.”
